This turned out to be a revealing test. The predicted min value of 226 came fairly close to the observed actual minumum value
of 210, however the predicted max of 464 was far out there with a 109 damage difference between it and the observed 355 max.
This is worth further investigation.
Another oddity here is the situation with the variance between 210 and 355. With a spec of 24, the variance should be 61%-125%
however these values do not have this relationship. If 210 were the 61% mark, then 345 would be the 100% mark. If this were
so then the 125% mark would be 431, but yet this number apparently is 355, which means a substantial loss in damage.

Control test (AF Buff On)
Testing Player Crafted weapons were as follows
duskwood heavy recurve bow
16.5 dps (16.0 effective dps)
5.5 Speed
99% quality
Determining damage cap
Damage Cap = EDPS * SPD * 3 * (1 + (SPD – 2) * .03) * (1.1 + (0.005 x spec) )
16.0 x 5.5 x 3 x 1.105 x 1.22 = 444
Determining base damage range -
EDPS * (your WS/target AF) * (1-absorb) * (1-base resists) * (1-RA resists) * slow weap bonus * SPD * 2h weapon bonus * Arrow
Bonus
2h weapon bonus = 1.1 + (0.005 x spec)
SLow Weapon bonus = 1 + ( (spd - 2) x 0.03)
16.0 x (1271 / 507) x 1.105 x 5.5 x 1.22
16 x 2.506903353 x 7.41455 = 297.4009640957784
Variance adjustments due to 24 spec
297.4 x 0.61 = 181.4 min value
297.4 x 1.25 = 371.7 max value
Arrow Damage bonus multipliers
181.4 x 1.25 = 226.7 predicted min value
371.7 x 1.25 = 464.6 predicted max value
