It could be a coincidence that the observed min here (298 or 309 without resists) and the observed max (421 or 433 without
resists) are extremly close to the observed min and max for cloth armor with af and abs buffs on (296 and 419 respectively).
However it may also be that this is not coincidental and perhaps indicative of something. In regard to the leather testing,
the predicted min and max, once again are out front ahead of the observed min, and max on uthgard with the predicted min this
time being 410 and max of 579. The lowered damage as compared to the cloth af + abs test is a result, presumably, of the
higher af of the leather armor.

Bow vs Leather
Testing Player Crafted weapons were as follows
duskwood heavy recurve bow
16.5 dps (16.0 effective dps)
5.5 Speed
99% quality
Determining damage cap
Damage Cap = EDPS * SPD * 3 * (1 + (SPD – 2) * .03) * (1.1 + (0.005 x spec) )
16.0 x 5.5 x 3 x 1.105 x 1.355 = 494
Determining base damage range -
EDPS * (your WS/target AF) * (1-absorb) * (1-base resists) * (1-RA resists) * slow weap bonus * SPD * 2h weapon bonus * Arrow
Bonus
2h weapon bonus = 1.1 + (0.005 x spec)
SLow Weapon bonus = 1 + ( (spd - 2) x 0.03)
16.0 x (1525 / 550) x 1.105 x 5.5 x 1.355
16 x 2.7727272727272727272727272727273 x 8.2350125 = 365.3351
Variance adjustments due to 51 spec
365.3 x 1.0 = 365.3 min value
365.3 x 1.41 = 515 max value
Arrow Damage bonus multipliers
365.3 x 1.25 = 456.6
515 x 1.25 = 643.7
10% Absorption Adjustment
456.6 x 0.90 = 410.9 predicted min value
643.7 x 0.90 = 579.3 predicted max value
