For this test I anticipated that the caster self absorption buff would cut into the minumum damage a small bit. The min damage
was brought down to 296, from 329, and the max was brought down to 419, from 465; approximately 10% respectively. The predicted
min however shows a different picture with 445 being the adjusted value from 495 and 628 being the adjusted value for the
max from 698, again 10%.

Bow vs Cloth test (AF and ABS Buff On)
Testing Player Crafted weapons were as follows
duskwood heavy recurve bow
16.5 dps (16.0 effective dps)
5.5 Speed
99% quality
Determining damage cap
Damage Cap = EDPS * SPD * 3 * (1 + (SPD – 2) * .03) * (1.1 + (0.005 x spec) )
16.0 x 5.5 x 3 x 1.105 x 1.355 = 494
Determining base damage range -
EDPS * (your WS/target AF) * (1-absorb) * (1-base resists) * (1-RA resists) * slow weap bonus * SPD * 2h weapon bonus * Arrow
Bonus
2h weapon bonus = 1.1 + (0.005 x spec)
SLow Weapon bonus = 1 + ( (spd - 2) x 0.03)
16.0 x (1525 / 507) x 1.105 x 5.5 x 1.355
16 x 3.0078895463510848126232741617357 x 8.2350125 = 396.32012820512820512820512820513
Variance adjustments due to 51 spec
396.3 x 1.0 = 396.3 min value
396.3 x 1.41 = 558.7 max value
Arrow Damage bonus multipliers
396.3 x 1.25 = 495.3 predicted min value
558.7 x 1.25 = 698.3 predicted max value
10% Absorption Adjustment
495.3 x 0.90 = 445.7
698.3 x 0.90 = 628.4
