Character Stat Caps

Dark Age of Camelot employs both caps to statistics from item bonuses as well as caps to statistics available from buffs. A character that is receiving a stat bonus from a buff will see the stat received capped at the buffs delve times the cap multiplier for the type of buff (base or spec line). Stats such as Strength/Constitution/Dexterity/Quickness etc also have built in hard caps at which past the player receives no benifit what so ever.

Impulse mentions that diminishing returns past 300 was not working on live at the time. Perhaps the feature was removed on certain or all stats?

Stat caps removed??
2006-08-18

http://www.camelotherald.com/more/2500.shtml

This could possibly be referring to the increase of the stat cap to 450 or is it referring to a removal of the stat caps all together with the exception of the effects on quicknes melee/ranged speed?

With 1.88, the removal of the old cap on quickness for ranged damage (bow/crossbow) indicates that the cap prior to this was the same as the melee one (250)
